Today's session of parliament began with a fierce scandal over the "Petrokhan" case.
Svetoslav Balabanov from "There is such a people" came out with a declaration on the "Petrokhan" case and said from the podium: "Kalushev was a "wonderful" lover of children who sexually abused them. I am also a parent, I cannot accept such a parental opinion, on the contrary – I am deeply disgusted that it is possible that Bulgarian society is so broken that parents consider this normal and do not protect their children, but their murderers.“
„I call on my colleagues from the PP-DB - come out and comment. How should this topic not be politicized, hypocrites? We have six corpses, we have pedophiles that you are protecting," he added, quoted by novini.bg.
Bozhidar Bozanov from "Continuing Change - Democratic Bulgaria" called the accusations "cheap political propaganda" and said: "Do you think we are not disgusted and worried by what is coming out? That is precisely why we insist that all documents be declassified. I see your anger that you will not enter the next parliament, but do not divide society."
Toshko Yordanov shouted from the podium: “Yes, we think you support pedophiles. You were one of the people who didn't want a pedophile registry. We think you and your whole clique are f*cks and support pedophiles.“
After the scandals, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Raya Nazaryan, announced a 15-minute recess. Yordan Ivanov from the PP-DB went to the podium and demanded that Yordanov be expelled from the session. Nazaryan reprimanded Yordanov for the insulting words, but did not expel him.
