Temperatures in most regions will have a small daily range.
Minimum temperatures will be from minus 3° in the north to 7° in the south, in Sofia – about minus 1°. Maximum temperatures will be about a degree higher, but will decrease during the day.
The weather in the country will be cloudy, in many places with rain precipitation, which, with the decrease in temperatures, will turn into snow in most of the country.
In the southern and far eastern regions, precipitation will be rain and snow, and in places ice will form there. Significant in quantity will be in Central and Eastern Bulgaria. It will be windy with moderate and temporarily strong wind from the north-northeast, which will create conditions for blizzards and drifts.
On the Black Sea coast it will be cloudy with rain, which will mix with snow during the night of Saturday. In places, mainly along the northern coast, there will be conditions for ice. Strong wind will blow from the north-northeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 4° and 7°. The temperature of the sea water is 4°-6°. The sea wave will be 3-4 points.
In the mountains it will be cloudy with snowfall, significant in quantity in the Rhodope Mountains and the Central Stara Planina. Strong wind will blow from the south-southeast, which will gradually orient from the north-northwest and weaken. There will be conditions for blizzards and drifts along the mountain passes. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 0°C, at 2000 meters - around minus 5°C.
On Sunday night, there will be snowfall in Northern Bulgaria, and in the southeastern regions the rain will also turn into snow. In the rest of the country, the precipitation will stop. The wind will weaken and will be oriented from the north-northwest.
On Sunday, by noon, the snowfall will stop everywhere, and over Western Bulgaria the cloud cover will break and decrease. The daytime temperatures there will rise and in the northwestern regions and the western part of the Upper Thracian Lowland they will reach 8°C-10°C, and in the east they will be between 2°C and 7°C.
During the new week, the daytime temperatures will rise. Morning temperatures will be lowest on Monday, when they will be negative in most of the country – between minus 6° and minus 1°.
On Monday , sunny weather will prevail, but on Tuesday and Wednesday there will be precipitation, mainly rain, in the mountains – snow.
