G. Klisurski: The Cabinet is ready to take measures in the event of a new sharp increase in oil prices

The interdepartmental working group formed due to the increase in fuel prices is holding a meeting, but no statements will be made after it

Finance Minister Georgi Klisurski assured that the government is ready to take measures if there is a new sharp increase in oil prices due to the war in the Middle East:

"The price of oil fell from 120 dollars per barrel to 90 dollars per barrel today. It was around $82 per barrel last night, so first of all it is important not to rush into measures and of course, secondly, we are absolutely ready if prices increase more drastically, then to protect Bulgarian citizens".
