A military truck, moving in the emergency lane, hit a bus with about 20 people on “Trakia”. Miraculously, the incident passed without casualties, "Nova TV" reported.
Several people went on a bus excursion. Shortly after the tunnel “Trajan's gates” policemen stop them for checking. While waiting in the emergency lane, a military truck hits them from behind.
The driver explained that his brakes failed. The passengers in the van have bruises.
„You get up early, you go to a holy place, a traffic police patrol stops us for a routine check. We pull into the emergency lane... and a brutal crash, panicked people screaming! You don't make it to this holy place because there's some antediluvian military vehicle on the highway with its brakes gone (at least that's the military's version).
So my question is who allows such vehicles to drive on the highways? Is this the military equipment our country has? If this is really the case - poor mother! Thank God that we are alive and well!”, wrote one of the bus passengers on Facebook after the accident.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed the incident, which miraculously escaped with only material damage. When asked by NOVA why the bus was stopped on the highway, they answered that it was moving without lights. A report has been drawn up of the driver of the military truck who was driving in the emergency lane and hit the bus.
