The smoke from the fire in the village of Voden in Yambol has reached the Aegean Sea - this is shown by satellite images taken yesterday around 15:00 hours Bulgarian time. The fire entered the village and caused serious damage, burning 35 houses and dozens of domestic animals.

That sums up BNT.

Local people walk around looking at their burnt houses and don't know what to do next. There are only tears in their eyes because some of them have been left without any property and only have the clothes on their backs.

The regional administration in Yambol assured that no person will be left without a home, BNT reported.

Meanwhile, a team from the municipality of Bolyarovo also began describing the damage in the village.

The local people cannot be calm, they remain very worried and criticize the actions of the institutions, as they were not notified in time and did not react adequately to prevent their houses from burning down.
