The National Assembly will discuss tomorrow in the first reading a bill to amend the Law on the State Budget of the Republic of Bulgaria for 2024. This is provided for in the draft program of the parliament for this week.
The budget update is related to the increase of 271 new projects of the Municipalities Investment Program.
With the amendment, the estimated size of the projects for the entire period becomes BGN 6.226 billion, of which BGN 4.553 billion for 2024, and of which BGN 747.54 million are funds from European Union (EU) projects, or 3 BGN .8 billion without them.
Last week, at its first meeting, the Committee on Budget and Finance in the National Assembly approved the update of the state budget proposed by the Council of Ministers.
On Thursday, Parliament is scheduled to hear the Acting Minister of the Interior, Kalin Stoyanov, regarding reports received from citizens regarding systematic violations by motorcyclists of the provision of the Road Traffic Act, according to which the driver of the vehicle is obliged not to cause difficulties to those living in roadside properties, by complies with the current noise norms, writes BTA.
The second item for Thursday in the proposed draft program of the parliament is a hearing of the acting Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, Violeta Koritarova, and the Chairman of the Management Board of the “Road Infrastructure” Agency. The first item on Friday is proposed to be a hearing of the Acting Minister of Energy Vladimir Malinov regarding a report and information on the current financial status of “Mini Maritsa-East” EAD. After that, regular parliamentary control is foreseen.
