We consider the third term to be the non-party one, if we consider the other two to be party ones. For us, it is a chance to return common sense to politics and start stabilization in politics if we unite around several priorities.
This was stated by Dragomir Stoynev from BSP, deputy chairman of the National Assembly, in an interview with BNR.
And he thinks that if President Radev hands over the third exploratory mandate to form a government to the BSP, “lightly, slowly, we can return to normality”.
„Yes, we have 18 people's representatives, but I believe that statesmanship is not measured by the number of mandates. We are ready for a supra-party cabinet by talking to all political forces in the National Assembly“, Stoynev, former energy minister, submitted a request for a government.
He commented on the gathering of the left-wing political formations of Buzludzha and their unification.
„The moment came when we would lend a hand and I saw the joy of the people, to see Stanishev, Parvanov in one place. This gives us hope for the future. These 16 political forces have shown that unification is necessary. This is also necessary at the national level. We from the BSP showed that the left forces first reached a consensus, Stoinev commented.
According to him, each socialist decides for himself what the reasons are for reaching this point”, and the appeal should be withdrawn, because in case of resignation, the National Council of Socialists determines who will lead the party.
“Would there be legal chaos, yes, but I think it will not come to that. It is important that the party and the people are satisfied. It is clear that there is no going back. The election results showed that we cannot continue in the same way. Ninova was a good leader up to a point. Times are changing. The election is coming up in October and let's regain the image of a social and peaceful political force. Buzludzha's satisfaction was great and it gives me hope. We showed a different type of communication. The BSP and the left forces have demonstrated that by joining hands, we can guarantee a welfare state", added Dragomir Stoynev.
The Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly commented on the problems in the country by sector, including the Belene reactors, which are being prepared for sale to Ukraine, as well as agriculture, education, health care and the decision of the Constitutional Court on constitutional changes.
