The National Revenue Agency has imposed a seizure on cars owned by "Historical Park" AD. The seizure was registered on the day Ivelin Mihaylov was removed from the company's Board of Directors, the investigative platform BIRD reported.
"This is not the first case of seizure of assets associated with Mihaylov", BIRD stated. According to data from public registers, at least 11 companies associated with the leader of the "Velichye" party have been seized by the National Revenue Agency.
In addition to the company assets, the state has also seized over 160 properties owned by Mihaylov's wife - Vasya Mihaylova. According to data from the inspection, the procedures against the family's property have been ongoing for months.
BIRD published information that Ivelin Mihaylov ranks second in the unofficial ranking of MPs with the largest debts to the National Revenue Agency, known as the "#DljaNaNAP" Club.
In previous statements to the media in March this year, Mihaylov confirmed that all of his assets have been seized. "I don't have money - my mother gives it to me", the MP from "Velichy" said at the time, claiming that the problems with the seizures were a result of his refusal to participate in "wind generator schemes".
Ivelin Mihaylov is the founder of "Historical Park" - a tourist complex near Varna, which is often the subject of criticism regarding its financing. In March 2025, he entered the 51st National Assembly as an MP and leader of the parliamentary group of "Velichy" after disputes with the Central Election Commission and a decision of the Constitutional Court.
The case with Mihaylov raises questions about the financial transparency of MPs and their business ventures, especially against the background of the MP's claims that he is a victim of "blackmail" by political opponents.
