Another signal of vandalism in Sofia. The footage sent by viewers shows several teenagers throwing stones at a public transport stop and breaking it.

The incident took place in the capital's "Lyulin" district. Vladimir Lazarov from the Center for Urban Mobility (CUM) told bTV that such acts of vandalism are everyday life.

Last year, there were about 130 such acts of vandalism. So far this year, 120 have been recorded, which, according to Lazarov, is a huge financial resource for the CUM.

„On average, I can say that in the order of 150,000 leva. are invested in repair activities“, explained Vladimir Lazarov.

According to him, it is difficult to identify the perpetrators.

“Vandalism is an “epidemic“ in Sofia. Every time, there is a long process. Restoring such an object takes a long time“, explained Lazarov.

The SDVR said that the young people have been identified. They are 17 years old and were called in for questioning with their parents. They were then released.
