The regional crisis headquarters for the implementation of the regional disaster protection plan in the territory of Pleven region is meeting again due to water supply problems. This was reported by the press center of the Regional Administration – Pleven.
The progress in implementing the measures identified in the previous meeting will be reported by the responsible institutions - “Water Supply and Sewerage“ EOOD, Pleven Municipality, “Danube Region“ Basin Directorate, “Irrigation Systems“ EAD &ndquo; Middle Danube branch, as well as by experts from the ministries of environment and water and of regional development and public works, and from “Bulgarian Water Supply and Sewerage Holding“ EAD, representatives of local institutions.
An analysis is expected to be carried out, and if necessary, corrective actions will be discussed and taken or new possible measures will be identified.
The meeting will be public, and not closed to citizens and media like last week. It will take place in the "Pleven" hall of the regional government.
As BTA wrote, at yesterday's meeting of the Municipal Council in Pleven, the topic of water supply was again the leading topic in the discussions. For more than four hours, experts and citizens were heard before the municipal councilors on the issue of water shortages in the city and nearby settlements.
