In Vinnytsia, a Ukrainian man shot his wife and her friend, then committed suicide, the Ukrainian publication reported Telegraph.
The dead are the bloggers Vera Pantera and her friend Natasha, known online under the nickname “Banderovka”, the publication writes. The journalists emphasized that the information about the identity of the girls requires confirmation.
The murder was committed on June 13. A 23-year-old man opened fire with a gun during a personal dispute in a residential area of Vinnytsia, then fled, Ukrainian police said. He killed an 18-year-old girl and seriously wounded her 19-year-old friend. The attacker is the husband of the deceased, the law enforcement officials found.
The victim managed to call an ambulance. The law enforcement officers had to enter through a window in the apartment on the third floor.
Later, the 19-year-old girl died in hospital. The shooter's body was found on the bank of the South Bug River with a gunshot wound to the head. According to preliminary data, he committed suicide.
