In Kuzbass, a local resident tried to kill the driver of the car in which his wife was in, Lenta reported .ru, referring to the regional office of the Investigative Committee of Russia (ICC).
According to the department, on June 18, a man overtook a car in which his wife was traveling on Parkhomenko Street in the city of Prokopievsk. He fired several times from an improvised firearm at the driver of the vehicle. The accused suspected that his wife was cheating on him with the victim. The injured was taken to hospital.
Investigators are opening a case under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted Murder". Police and the National Guard quickly apprehended the shooter. The issue of his detention is being resolved.
