The government is proposing a program for 47 million leva to support Bulgarians returning to Bulgaria. For now, only from EU countries and people of Bulgarian origin. They would look for them a job, support them in self-employment. This work is starting to seem strange to me.
On the one hand, many Bulgarians are abroad precisely because of the higher salaries /many times higher than Bulgarians/, better working conditions, social system, public order, etc. Very often these Bulgarians return to Bulgaria with enough money. Many guest workers are currently building houses or buying properties. Part of the property boom is due precisely to the money of Bulgarians working abroad who want to invest in property in Bulgaria.
So what will Bulgaria help these people with? And somehow the image of those "Bulgarians" who went to the EU not to work, but to grind the social system there appears in my mind. With a few shillings, for which they also receive benefits. And since the EU has already reversed the trend and does not want to feed our hard-earned money, it plans to tighten the rules. The new favorites are migrants, but not those from Bulgaria. Which is why a mass return is expected at some point precisely of those who do not work, but are on social benefits.
I don't know how you can convince a person who loves dishes for 2,000 euros to come to Bulgaria to work as a teacher for 1,000 euros. Somehow idealism and patriotism in this case are not enough to make a person do it. So how will the state convince these Bulgarians? There is no way......
It is very likely that these 47 million leva will be used for programs that will be absorbed by "our people", to give support to people who are used to absorbing public funds. Money down the drain.
If the government wants Bulgarians to return to Bulgaria, first resign, GERB to dissolve itself as a party, Borisov to be sentenced and put in prison, as well as everyone who has ruined Bulgaria over the past three decades. To give power to honest, capable and knowledgeable people and to begin the reconstruction of Bulgaria. And to create conditions for a normal life and, above all, a dignified life. A difficult, but not impossible task. But it will take decades.
The Bulgarians will return one day. When war begins. And it will begin. But things will be much different. And the issue will not be about finding a job, but about our survival as a people and a country in general.
And I think that in this government there is not a single adequate person who can think. But they are distributing some money. Our money. For them.
