Goztepe, which is led by Stanimir Stoilov, may sell Brazilian defender Eliton George to the Iranian giant Persepolis, reports the newspaper sonkaleizmir.com.

The defender, who arrived in Goztepe a year and a half ago from CSKA 1948, has aroused the interest of a team from Iran and they have already approached the Turks to ask about the transfer fee, BTA reports. The Brazilian came in the 2023-2024 season, and in May last year his contract was extended until 2026. In the past Super League campaign, Eliton recorded 34 matches out of 36 possible and has undoubtedly become the heart of the Göztepe defense.

In the new season, Göztepe will be allowed to register 14 foreigners, including possible young players born in 2003 or later. It is unclear what will happen to Isak Sole from Slavia, who will learn his future before the team leaves for the camp in Slovenia. Sole was injured during the match against Besiktas, but has prolonged his problems, as he did not comply with the discipline imposed by the doctors.

Murray has already brought in right-back Arda Okan Kurtulan. He is a Fenerbahçe youth player, but in the last year played for the bankrupt Adana Demirspor, which is why he is on Stoilov's list of new signings on a free transfer.
