Chelsea representatives have held talks with the London City Hall about the prospect of building a new stadium or expanding the current one, reports The Telegraph, quoted by sportal.bg.
The home facility “Stamford Bridge“ has a capacity of 41,728 spectators, which places it in 11th place in the Premier League in the 2025/26 season.
The new stadium could be located in the “Earls Court“ area, but the owners of the field intend to build housing on it.
Construction of houses should begin in 2026.
