A large-scale air alert has been declared in Ukraine due to the takeoff of a MiG-31 and the threat of missile strikes. This was reported by Ukrinform, quoted by BTA, referring to the current air alert map.
„An air alert has been declared in the capital due to the takeoff of a Russian MiG-31K, capable of carrying a „Dagger“ missile. We ask all residents of the capital to immediately go to the nearest shelters and stay there until the end of the alert“, says a statement from the Kiev City Military Administration.
A number of residential and non-residential buildings in Kiev were damaged in a Russian attack. Two people were injured and hospitalized. This was reported in the “Telegram“ by the head of the Kiev military administration, Timur Tkachenko.

The quarantine island, where the Korabel district of Kherson is located, has been placed under full fire control, said Kherson region governor Volodymyr Saldo.
„The quarantine island is completely within the reach of our positions – this is a fact. We keep it under control, but the enemy continues to use the island as a springboard for isolated military operations. Small groups penetrate it at night, hide in houses and industrial buildings and launch drones“, Saldo said.
The governor added that the complete „clearance“ on the island against the backdrop of constant anti-terrorist actions and movements of the Ukrainian enemy at night is currently unrealistic, but the Russian armed forces keep the situation under control and inflict systematic damage on the Ukrainian armed forces.
Currently, 75% of the Kherson region is under Russian control, while the Ukrainian armed forces hold part of the territory on the right bank of the Dnieper River, including the city of Kherson.
