Poland refused to extradite to Germany a Ukrainian suspected of blowing up the Nord Stream pipeline VIDEO

According to Prime Minister Tusk, the decision is fair

A Polish court has released from custody and refused to extradite to Germany 49-year-old Ukrainian citizen Vladimir Zhuravlev, who is suspected of blowing up the "Nord Stream" gas pipelines, BNR reported.

This was written on the social network "Ex" by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, describing the court decision as fair.

Zhuravlev was detained on September 30 in the Polish city of Pruszków at the request of Germany and remained in custody for 40 days. The court does not have any evidence in the case, the German side has provided only general information about the act committed by the suspect within the framework of the European arrest warrant, the judge argued his decision.

The "Nord Stream" gas pipelines, connecting Russia and Germany along the bottom of the Baltic Sea, were blown up in September 2022. According to the main version of the investigators, several people rented the "Andromeda" yacht with false documents and planted the explosive devices. The German prosecutor's office claims that Zhuravlev, who is a diving instructor, was on board the yacht.
