Friday's meeting in Washington between US and Ukrainian presidents Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky included a working lunch at the White House, which was also enjoyed by the guest delegation, SkyNews reported, quoted by FOKUS.
But what was on the menu? According to the cards placed on golden plates in the cabinet room, the following were served:
A salad with crispy artichokes, shredded dill and lemon vinaigrette;
Roasted chicken with sweet potato patties, pea fricassee, arugula and rosemary aioli.
Apple "Macintosh" and caramel chiffon with clementine ice cream and blackberry sauce.
Of course, the dish that the Ukrainian team most hoped would make it onto its golden plate was in the form of long-range "Tomahawk" cruise missiles.
