Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on his allies to take "decisive action" after returning from Washington, where he failed to secure an increase in US military support, Agence France-Presse reported, BTA reported.

"Ukraine will never give a single reward to terrorists for their crimes, and we count on our partners to maintain this position," Zelensky wrote on social media, calling on his European and US allies to "take decisive action".

The Ukrainian president visited the White House on Friday to ask his American counterpart for "Tomahawk" missiles with a range of up to 1,600 km to reinforce the Ukrainian army fighting Russian forces.

US President Donald Trump turned a deaf ear to this request.

"The meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was very interesting and cordial, but I told him, as I strongly suggested to President Putin, that it is time to stop the killing and reach an agreement," the American head of state wrote on his social network "Truth Social".

In recent weeks, Moscow has stepped up its attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure, forcing thousands of people to cope with power outages as winter approaches.

"This week alone, Russia has used over 3,270 attack drones, 1,370 guided bombs and nearly 50 missiles of various types against Ukraine," Zelensky said.

Today, Ukrainian authorities announced for the deaths of two people in the eastern part of the country, where more than 10 others were injured.

Ukraine responded by stepping up its attacks on Russia's western border areas and Russian gas and oil facilities.
