The Palestinian Civil Defense reported at least 30 deaths and dozens of injuries in Israeli strikes in Gaza

Previously, Benjamin Netanyahu ordered powerful strikes against the enclave

Israeli attacks have killed at least 30 people and injured dozens of others in Gaza, the Civil Defense Agency in the Palestinian territory announced, quoted by Agence France-Presse and BNR.

"Our teams are still working to pull the dead and wounded from the rubble," agency spokesman Mahmoud Bassal told AFP.

In recent days, Israel has launched airstrikes despite the ceasefire and after accusing the Hamas group of attacking Israeli soldiers and violating the ceasefire agreement.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said the prime minister had ordered "powerful strikes" against Gaza, and Defense Minister Israel Katz accused Hamas of in attacks on Israeli military units in Gaza.

However, US Vice President J.D. Vance indicated that the ceasefire remained in force despite the violence.

Previously, FOCUS reported at least 9 deaths on Tuesday after Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, citing a statement by Gaza Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Bassal, quoted by Anadolu Agency.

This is a new violation of the ceasefire agreement, medical sources in the city reported.

A strike was targeted at a house in the Sabra neighborhood in western Gaza, inside the "yellow line", killing four people, while several others remain missing under the rubble, the sources reported.

"Yellow Line" refers to the area into which Israeli forces withdrew under the ceasefire agreement, stretching from the southern part of the northern Gaza Strip to the outskirts of Rafah.

Five more Palestinians were killed when Israeli forces hit a vehicle in Khan Younis, also in the "yellow line" in southern Gaza.

The Israeli army launched a series of air and artillery strikes in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, following orders from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to carry out "immediate, powerful strikes" in the enclave over alleged ceasefire violations by Hamas.

According to Anadolu reporters, an Israeli airstrike hit the Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City, while artillery fire was directed at areas east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza. Rockets were also fired around the "Shifa" medical complex in Gaza City.

A ceasefire agreement has been in effect in Gaza since October 10 under US President Donald Trump's 20-point plan.

The first phase of the agreement includes the release of Israeli hostages in exchange for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners. The plan also calls for the reconstruction of Gaza and the establishment of a new governance mechanism without Hamas.
