China said today that it is not conducting any nuclear tests, in response to US President Donald Trump's claims that Beijing and Moscow are conducting such tests but are not talking about them, Agence France-Presse reported, BTA reported.

"China has always adhered to a peaceful path of development, has a policy of no first strike, adheres to a nuclear strategy based on self-defense and abides by its commitment to suspending nuclear tests," Mao Ning, a spokeswoman for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said at a regular press conference.

She also confirmed that Spanish King Felipe VI will visit China from November 10 to 13. This is the first visit by a Spanish monarch to China in 18 years and it will take place at a time when Madrid is seeking to improve trade ties with Beijing and attract Chinese investment.

China is ready to use the opportunity provided by the visit to expand cooperation and enhance the strategic partnership, Mao Ning stressed.

In addition, the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced that it will extend the visa-free regime for some countries, including France, until December 31, 2026. From November 10 of this month, the scheme will be expanded, adding Sweden.
