Russian drones damaged a building housing the editorial office of the public broadcaster "Suspilne" in Dnipro and Ukrainian radio "Dnipro" in a large-scale nighttime attack on the city, "Reuters" reported.
Vladislav Khaivanenko, the acting governor of Dnipropetrovsk region, whose administrative center is Dnipro, said Russian drones attacked the region late last night. The attack injured two people, caused several fires and damaged apartment blocks and city infrastructure.
"Suspilne" reported that a fire had broken out, windows and doors had been blown out, and the floors and roof of the building had been damaged, but no personnel were inside at the time.
The broadcaster published a photo showing a gaping hole in the building's concrete floors, with exposed metal rebar, dangling wires and collapsed ceiling panels below.
"Suspilne" is the national public broadcasting company of Ukraine, which operates television, radio and online news services through a network of regional channels across the country.
Dnipro, an industrial city in Ukraine, and the wider Dnipropetrovsk region have been subjected to repeated Russian missile and drone attacks during the nearly four-year war.
