Ukrainian drones have attacked Sevastopol on the Crimean peninsula - the city where the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet is located. This was announced by the Moscow-appointed governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, quoted by DPA, reports BTA.

According to him, one man was killed and a woman was injured in the attack. Razvozhaev specified on “Telegram“ that the air defense had shot down a total of 26 drones. He did not specify whether military facilities were hit, but noted that there was limited damage to residential buildings, including broken windows.

According to a report by the Russian news agency TASS, air defense forces and the Black Sea Fleet worked throughout the night to repel the attack.

Meanwhile, the pro-Ukrainian channel “Crimean Wind“ on “Telegram“ reported explosions near Dzhankoy in northern Crimea, where a military airport is located.

Due to the increased attacks by Ukrainian air and sea drones, Russia earlier moved most of its Black Sea Fleet ships to Novorossiysk, in southern Russia. However, a number of military facilities remain in Sevastopol and the surrounding area.

For its part, Ukrainian authorities reported Russian attacks on Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region, in which three people were injured. According to Kiev, a missile was also fired at Kharkiv in the eastern part of the country.
