Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with dozens of attack drones, as well as ballistic and cruise missiles, with the country's energy infrastructure being the main target, the Ukrainian armed forces and local authorities said, as quoted by Reuters.
The attacks hit Kiev and the region around the capital, the Black Sea port city of Odessa, as well as parts of central Ukraine.
At least one person was injured in the Kiev region. Damage was caused in five districts, where more than ten residential buildings were damaged, the regional governor of the region Mykola Kalashnik reported on "Telegram".
According to the head of the Odessa regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, the nighttime drone attack on the region's energy infrastructure caused fires that were later extinguished.
