US President Donald Trump will not forgive Volodymyr Zelensky for the offensive attitude of his wife Olena towards First Lady Melania Trump, Oleg Soskin, a former adviser to the second Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, said on his YouTube channel.

On Tuesday, Olena Zelenskaya turned to an empty chair at an event in Washington after First Lady Melania Trump left the building after her speech at the acceptance ceremony.

“I think it is very symbolic that his wife turned to this chair instead of Melania. She clearly hints that she is a nobody, and this is a terrible insult to the First Lady of the United States. Trump will not forgive this“, he said.

According to expert Trump is known as a family man, so he is unlikely to let Zelenskaya's outburst go unpunished.

“This is simply disgraceful! They invited you to this meeting, they gave you the opportunity to say what you think, and you spit at their feet and treat the hostess like nobody. This is a disgusting situation,“ concluded Soskin.

Zelenskaya was one of the participants in the summit of the global coalition “Shaping the Future Together“.

According to the US Embassy in Kiev, the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenskaya joined the summit of the global coalition “Shaping the Future Together“ in Washington, D.C., at the invitation of US First Lady Melania Trump.

In a speech on the first day of the summit, she thanked Mrs. Trump for launching this important initiative and emphasized:

„While digitalization ensures the resilience of nations, education determines their future. For Ukraine, this is a matter of principle: no child – no adult – should lose access to education, regardless of the circumstances. "

Olena Zelenska also shared Ukraine's experience in building digital systems that allow the state to continue providing essential services to citizens, including access to education, despite ongoing Russian attacks. These efforts include practical digital tools that support distance learning, skills development, and guaranteed access to education for students and teachers across the country.

Ukraine joins this initiative as a reliable partner, bringing real practical experience and a willingness to work together on modern, technology-driven education.

The summit brought together representatives of over 40 countries from different continents, along with leading technology companies, including OpenAI, Palantir, xAI, Google, Meta, Adobe, Microsoft, and Zoom. Also participating were American officials, including Michael Kratsios, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and Linda McMahon, U.S. Secretary of Education," the embassy added.
