Thousands left without power in Ireland

A storm in Great Britain and Ireland caused the cancellation of flights in both countries and left thousands of Irish homes without electricity, reported "Reuters", quoted by BTA.

The storm, dubbed 'Kathleen', affected a number of flights at airports in Ireland and the UK, including Manchester Airport, Belfast Airport and Dublin Airport. In Scotland, rail and ferry services were also affected by the storm.

High winds caused power outages. Around 34,000 households and businesses were left without power in Ireland.
