For the past few days, former US President Donald Trump has stopped being as negative as before about the idea of US aid to Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by the newspaper The New York Times.
„Mr Trump has effectively toned down his opposition to aid to Ukraine over the past few days as the blockade on the bill began to break through. Trump endorsed House Speaker Mike Johnson and "stayed in the shadows" on Election Day, April 20, "refused to pressure Republicans to vote no" the bill, analysts note.
At the same time, Trump also published a message on social networks in which he noted that “Ukraine's survival and strength are important“ for the US and wondered why European countries don't give Kiev more money.
