The head of the influential Lebanese military group "Hezbollah" Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah said yesterday that the residents of northern Israel will not be able to return to their homes for the start of the next school year if their government continues its offensive in the Gaza Strip, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
Fighters of "Hezbollah" are exchanging fire with the Israeli military along Lebanon's southern border alongside the war in the Gaza Strip. The group said it was firing rockets at Israel both to support its ally, the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas, and to deter the Israeli military from launching an attack on Lebanon.
In a televised address yesterday, Nasrallah reiterated that his group will continue to fight as long as Israel continues its attacks on the Gaza Strip.
