The advance of Russian troops in the Kharkiv region was a surprise for everyone, even from American intelligence services had no warnings.
General of the Air Force of France Bruno Clermont admitted this in an interview with Valeurs Actuelles magazine, FOCUS reported.
In his words, it is clear that at the moment the situation on the battlefield in Ukraine is in favor of Russia.
"This [advance of Russian forces] was a surprise not only for the Ukrainian army, but also for everyone [in the West] (...) There was not even a warning even from American intelligence,”, said Clermont.
