Authorities must immediately assess flood damage to start rebuilding housing stock by the end of the summer season. This was emphasized by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the heads of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Alexander Kurenkov and the Ministry of Natural Resources Alexander Kozlov, TASS reported.
"It is necessary to immediately carry out work to assess the damage to households and citizens. All this must be drained – and in time to make such an assessment immediately”, the president instructed.
„The summer will pass quickly,”, Putin pointed out. “And we need to do as much as possible over the summer to rebuild the housing stock.“
