Kim's sister threatens Seoul with 'devastating consequences' over leaflets

They caused inconvenience to our citizens, Kim Yo-chen said

North Korea said today that South Korea will face "devastating consequences" because of leaflets with anti-North Korean content, reported the KCTA agency, quoted by Reuters and BTA.

Kim Yo-chen, the powerful sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un who is also a senior party official, said large balloons carrying anti-North Korean leaflets from South Korea had been found in her homeland and had caused inconvenience to residents of the country.

"The situation seems to be becoming unacceptable. I issue a stern warning again," she said in a statement released by KCTA.
