Latvian authorities have prepared another shipment of humanitarian aid to Ukraine - it was approved by the country's government on Tuesday.
According to the Latvian Ministry of Health, the shipment will include medical supplies and equipment, which are prepared based on the list of the Ukrainian side, as well as taking into account the acute needs, including after the Russian missile attack on the children's hospital “Okhmatdet“ in Kiev, specified the BBC.
„After determining the available resources and capabilities, Latvia will send to Ukraine: antibiotics, syringes, needles, infusion systems, manipulation tourniquets, adhesive plasters, compression bandages to stop life-threatening bleeding, bandages for dressing large wounds,” they said. from the ministry.
According to the ministry, this is the second shipment of medical aid in recent weeks.
In early July, Latvian hospitals handed over ventilators, operating tables, defibrillators, heart rate monitors and other medical equipment to their Ukrainian counterparts.
