The railway operator "Eurostar" advised customers today to postpone travel if possible after train lines between London and Paris were damaged by vandalism in France, Reuters reported.
"We advise our customers to postpone their journeys if possible," the rail operator said in a statement.
Earlier the company said that the "coordinated malicious acts in France" have resulted in several canceled trains and trains to and from Paris have had to use slower routes.
The German railway operator "Deutsche Bahn" also warned of disruption on its rail network and asked commuters to check the status of their trains in advance.
"Due to damage caused by vandalism, the long distance lines between France and Germany of "Deutsche Bahn" may be canceled or postponed in the short term," the company wrote on its website.
