Moscow airports are back to normal this morning after temporary restrictions were imposed on three of them due to last night's drone attacks on the Russian capital, the Russian aviation authority “Rosaviatsia” said, quoted by Reuters and BTA.
Ukraine launched one of its largest drone attacks against Moscow to date, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced earlier. Russian air defense units shot down 11 drones flying towards the capital.
Temporary restrictions were imposed at Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports from 2:31 a.m. local time (corresponds to that in Bulgaria – ed.) until 6:30 a.m., reported “Rosaviatsia“ on his channel in the social network "Telegram". No restrictions have been imposed on the operation of Sheremetyevo Airport, which is the largest in Moscow.
