Russia's combat losses in Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to August 26, 2024 are more than 600,000 people killed and wounded, including 1,140 killed in the past day, the General Staff of The Armed Forces of Ukraine, quoted by Ukrinform and BTA.
Ukrainian forces have destroyed during the aforementioned period 8,551 Russian tanks, 16,648 armored fighting vehicles, 17,443 artillery systems, 1,172 rocket launchers, 937 air defense systems, 367 military aircraft, 328 helicopters, 14,134 drones, 2,444 cruise missiles, 28 warships and cutters, a submarine, 23,555 vehicles and 2,941 units of specialized equipment.
Recent reports of Russian losses are being verified, Ukrinform specified.
Ukrinform recalls that yesterday a total of 136 battles were reported on the front in Ukraine, most of which were concentrated in the directions of Pokrovsk, Liman and Kurakhove.
