US Approves Arms Deliveries to Israel worth $165 million, including heavy-duty tank trailers, the State Department announced, the Associated Press reported, citing BTA.
Systems include spare parts, repair parts, tool kits, as well as technical and logistical support. The deliveries are expected to be completed only in 2027.
Earlier this year, the US announced a major $20 billion arms aid package to Israel, including F-15 fighter jets.
Like the tank trailers, these systems will not be delivered for the next few years and will not affect Israel's current military operations in the 11-month-old war against the militants of the Palestinian Islamist movement "Hamas" in the Gaza Strip.
