Dodik: I would not even consider resigning, there is no legal and moral reason to be arrested

There are Bosnian Muslims in Sarajevo, motivated by political Islam, who would like to involve the entire world in the fight against the Serbs, said the President of Republika Srpska

The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, said that he "would not even consider" resigning and would never do so under pressure. On April 1, the politician surprisingly appeared in Moscow after an international warrant was issued for his arrest.

"I will leave the political scene only when the people in Republika Srpska decide that this is how it should be. I definitely do not intend to leave Republika Srpska, because I have everything there - my family, my loved ones, and I feel good there, he told TASS.

"There is no legal or moral reason for me to be arrested", he said. Brussels is too involved in the instability and lawlessness in Bosnia and Herzegovina and has already crossed all possible boundaries. There has been peace in the country for 30 years, and they are stubbornly trying to preserve the structures that were supposedly responsible for ensuring this peace. All this is illogical. But I believe that the responsible people will remain faithful to the mandate given to them by the Security Council and will not go beyond it. And this mandate does not provide for making arrests", said the politician.

"I am fighting for my homeland, for the place where I was born, as well as for all corners of Republika Srpska, where people live for whom this is their homeland. We are not militarists, we are not some rebel group, and we have nothing to fear. The law is on our side, and the obvious and widespread abuses are on the part of political Sarajevo, especially that part of Bosnian Muslims who are devoted to the political Islam that they have been promoting for three decades in this territory", continued Dodik.

"It is obvious that the representatives of the current mainstream in Brussels no longer feel safe. And the Europe they are entrusted to govern is lost. Today, Europe is synonymous with a crisis created by itself, and that is why they resort to such dramatic radical methods," he noted, pointing to what happened with Marine Le Pen, Calin Georgescu and Brussels' attitude towards the "Alternative for Germany". The same thing happened before in America with President Trump - practically the same methods. Persecution, every day a new accusation, a new case. People just want to deal with only their problems - that's all. It will be very difficult for Europe to save itself with this elite. It is obvious that Europe has no leader and the leaders of individual countries are having a very hard time dealing with the situation in their countries. No one is emerging as a supreme leader in this situation," he stressed.

"It is expected that the new German Chancellor may become the new leader, but Germany itself has many problems and it will be difficult for it to deal only with European issues. On the other hand, Europe has no raw materials for its industry. It is obvious that it has lost its competitive advantage. Europe is no longer an innovation center for industry and technology in general. And in the end, Europe, which loved to promote the idea of European values, lost these values. If it hinders democracy, if it is ready to falsify elections, if it is ready to abuse justice, if it is ready to send a foreigner to us who no one appointed and stand behind him, then this Europe has no future," Dodik continued..

"We are against the transition to NATO membership. The alliance bombed the Serbs twice. Once in Republika Srpska, and the second time in Serbia, which caused us serious material and human losses. But what we remember with pain is that they dumped depleted uranium, which led to long-term consequences and an increase in cancer cases even among newborn children. This was not just military intervention. This was a criminal act on their part. So when we hear about NATO, we feel uncomfortable, we don't want to think about them and listen to them. I believe that President Trump will be able to put them in some kind of framework", said the President of Republika Srpska.

"In Sarajevo there are Bosnian Muslims motivated by political Islam who would like to involve the whole world in the fight against the Serbs. However, I think that this is not real and even in NATO itself there are no such deluded minds. NATO did everything to disarm our Republika Srpska. It destroyed all the weapons factories that we had. Bosnian Muslims, and especially those motivated by political Islam, were left with 11 factories. And often, when there is a terrorist act somewhere in Europe, weapons and ammunition are found that come from this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. "They have connections with radical Muslims from all over the world and are becoming logistics for their further actions in Europe," Dodik concluded.
