Israel kills Hezbollah commander in Lebanon strike

Adnan Mohammed Sadiq Harb led the logistics forces of the movement's Badr branch

The Israeli Air Force carried out a strike in the Nabatiya region of Lebanon and killed the field commander of the Badr squad of the Shiite movement Hezbollah, Adnan Mohammed Sadiq Harb, the army press service reported.

„The terrorist was the commander of the logistics forces of the Badr branch of the Hezbollah movement. He contributed to the restoration of Hezbollah's terrorist capabilities and assisted in efforts to rebuild the terrorist infrastructure south of the Litani River, the statement said.

The radical was involved in "the transfer of weapons to Lebanese territory to various units of the terrorist organization Hezbollah", and his activities "represent a gross violation of the ceasefire agreements between Israel and Lebanon," the press service specified.

The Israel Defense Forces "will continue to act to eliminate any threat that may arise to the State of Israel," the military assured.
