The SBU said on "Telegram" that it believes agents of Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) were behind the killing of SBU Colonel Ivan Voronych in Kiev on Thursday.
The Security Service of Ukraine attempted to detain the Russian agents, but they resisted, resulting in shots being fired and the agents being killed, SBU chief Vasily Malyuk was quoted as saying by UNIAN.
The SBU said that two people – a man and a woman – are suspected of Voronych's murder. The service did not say how many suspected FSB agents were killed today.
