The Kremlin described as "nothing new" the claims of Poland and other European countries that Russian drones had entered Polish airspace, which were shot down over Poland, and that Moscow would not comment further on the topic, Reuters reported, BTA reported.

Poland, Ukraine and Lithuania published a joint statement in which they strongly condemned Russia for the incident, defining the entry of the drones into Polish airspace as a deliberate and unprecedented provocation.

"Moscow will not make any further comments on the case. Our Defense Ministry has already spoken out and even offered consultations, if necessary, there is nothing more to add" said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"As for the rhetoric coming from Warsaw, there is nothing new in it. We have been hearing similar statements from almost all European capitals recently. We are simply observing a continuation along these lines," he added.

Peskov added that the military exercises between Russia and Belarus, which will begin tomorrow near the Polish border, are not directed against any country. "These are pre-planned exercises. They are not directed against anyone. This is part of the ongoing military cooperation and coordination between two strategic allies," the Kremlin spokesman added.
