The Chinese component manufacturer showed a car for generation Z. The XiM25 crossover received a transforming interior with removable, rotating and folding seats, a large-format head-up display, air deflectors with simulated wind and a modular steering wheel.
Yanfeng, one of China's largest automotive component manufacturers, unveiled the XiM25 concept, showcasing new technologies and solutions aimed at Gen Z buyers. Here, they are expected to play video games, watch movies, etc. n.
The interior space will adapt to current requirements. In fact, this is another embodiment of the popular concept of the “third space”, in which the car is assigned the role of a “mobile digital sanctuary”.
The XiM25 salon is equipped with the latest technologies. It has an ultra-wide screen head-up display similar to the BMW Panoramic Vision and a ClickRim steering wheel. The latter is assembled from separate modules, heating and special connectors that allow automatic displacement of the interior.
The concept's ventilation deflectors can mimic a gentle breeze, and the blowing pattern can be synchronized with interior lighting. The touchpad between the rear seats features a hidden interface that helps eliminate light pollution from multiple screens. See also the video on the subject.
