The Electrocharge charging station chain and the Petrol gas station chain have launched a strategic cooperation to expand the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Bulgaria.
In the next three years, the partners plan to build over 200 charging points on key roads, highways and main city locations.
The first completed site is located at the Petrol gas station on Simeonovsko Shose Blvd. in the capital's Malinova Dolina district, where a 120 kW DC station has been installed. The location was chosen because of its convenient access to both the inner-city network and the Ring Road.
The planned expansion of the network aims to provide more uniform coverage in the country and to support the development of electromobility through predictable and reliable infrastructure.

Electrohold will launch the construction of its chain of electric vehicle charging stations - Electrocharge, at the end of 2024. The devices are installed in 18 cities, including Sofia, Varna, Pleven, Blagoevgrad, Lovech, Vratsa, Montana and Vidin and are equipped with the latest technologies for fast and efficient charging.
