Official Minister of Agriculture and Food Georgi Tahov will participate today in the opening of the 16th edition at the specialized exhibition for agriculture BATA AGRO, which will continue until May 17 at Stara Zagora Airport, the press center of the Ministry of Health announced, BTA reported.
The acting Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Deyan Stratev will also attend the event.
Importers of agricultural machinery, companies from the agricultural sector, offering irrigation systems, seeds, fertilizers and preparations, spare parts, tools, etc., will be presented at the exhibition, according to the line ministry.
BTA recalls that according to the organizers from the Bulgarian Association of Agricultural Machinery Dealers, 200 companies will take part in this year's exhibition on a net exhibition area of nearly 36,000 square meters.
BATA AGRO is held outdoors and for another year will organize demonstrations with agricultural machinery and technologies. Thus, farmers can take a test drive and see the operations of the machines in real field conditions.
New this year will be the improved food court. It will offer an even greater variety of fresh, home-cooked food, and in addition to the typical barbecue, there will also be a lunch menu with cooked dishes, burgers and sandwiches, as well as a variety of desserts and craft beer.
