Bitcoin sets new all-time high - 1

Bitcoin price hits new all-time high, surpassing USD 98,000, according to data from the Binance platform.

As of 13:03 Bulgarian time, the cryptocurrency has increased by 5.23%, to 98,021 USD.

By 13:19 Bulgarian time, Bitcoin accelerated its growth and was at the level of 98.139 USD (+5.49%).

Earlier, experts reported that Bitcoin could easily reach the USD 100,000 mark soon and continue further growth - up to USD 300,000 in the current growth phase. At the same time, technical corrections are not excluded, which in the absence of serious negative factors will be bought out.

According to experts, the rise in the price of the cryptocurrency is due to several factors. Donald Trump's promises play an important role, including ambitious plans to transform the US into a global cryptocurrency hub and a major overhaul of the SEC's current regulatory policies. He also promised to create Bitcoin reserves.

Increased investor attention to cryptocurrency is also due to the fact that during periods of geopolitical crises, Bitcoin and stablecoins are often considered a potential “protection” assets. Investors often look for ways to diversify and protect themselves from volatility in traditional markets. At the same time, the cryptocurrency correction is inevitable.

Bitcoin is a decentralized system of the cryptocurrency of the same name, based on blockchain technology, which can be “mined“ by (issuing) any user who is a participant in the system. To do this, you need to create new system blocks.

The concept was published in November 2008. by its author (probably a team of authors) under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. Bitcoin's popularity has only peaked in recent years. The supply of bitcoins is naturally limited; currently most bitcoins are already “mined”.
