Someone had said that the difference between us and the Japanese is that the Japanese feel a sense of shame, and we Europeans feel a sense of sin.
It is paradoxical, but there are people who feel neither a sense of shame nor a sense of sin. There are people who feel nothing. These are empty people. Now I will give you an example of one such person - an empty person.
A while ago this person gave a briefing. At this briefing he said the following: “I have donated 251,000 leva to Ivaylo Kalushev's NGO and I would give it again“. These words are from the mayor of Sofia, Vasil Terziev. An empty man.
Let me just remind you that after the tragedy in Petrokhan, Mayor Terziev was quick to write that Kalushev and company are actually some “good guys”. A little later he admitted that he had donated 70-80 thousand euros to the personal account of one of the sectarians. Then it became clear that he had lied and had actually funded the account of one of the suicides, because this was not a donation, but funding a personal account with 251,000 leva. In other words - he had lied. And the lie shone through after the prosecutor's office lifted the bank secrecy in this criminal case.
This was published on his Facebook page by the leader of the ITN Slavi Trifonov regarding the position that earlier today the mayor of Sofia Vasil Terziev published on Facebook regarding the donations he made to Ivaylo Kalushev's organization. Here is more from Slavi Trifonov's comment:
Mayor Terziev is simply a liar and he doesn't care. And the truth is that Mayor Terziev has sympathy for the sectarians and pedophiles in question and has no sympathy for the victims of Kalushev and the stolen children's lives. And from his statement today it is clear that he is proud of himself.
That is why I am telling you - firstly, that Mayor Terziev is a liar, secondly, that he is an empty person. It is so unfortunate and sad that such a person is not only a public figure, but also the mayor of Sofia. Because you, as the mayor, can demand his resignation, but as a person you can only feel pity for him.
