ΠpApproximately one third of the Bulgarian population lives in housing built during the communist era, similar to the ratio in the Czech Republic and Πolsha. In Latvia, more than 50% of the population live in the former communist blocs, while in Estonia their share reaches 70%.

So as the blocks get older and become inadequate from the point of view of energy efficiency, the problem arises, what should we call them - damage or construction?

B Bulgaria's high rate of private ownership, around 85%, means that cgpads would be problematic for adoption and new economy. Moreover, the reconstruction of housing is expensive. According to researchers from the Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia, tearing down blocks to restore similar housing in the city would and up to four times more than the intensive application, money.bg specifies.

Dpagomip Tsanev, director of EnEffest, an organization with a national goal for energy efficiency in Sofia, pointed out that there is a "great appetite" for the canipane of cities in Bulgaria. In the last financing cycle, 3068 reliable cities applied for full free aid. Further financing, however, is only available for 756.

According to Tsanev, the wave of energy projects will only create a light, personal life for the residents and "more flexible" financial mechanisms.
