Donchev: We will not sign the PP-DB declaration against Peevski. It is impolite for the second to set conditions

It should be investigated why, where and on whose order ballots were added. We have a huge problem – 80,000 people participate in the election process in the sectional election commissions. What were they doing? Where were they looking and why were they silent? asked Tomislav Donchev

Donchev: We will not sign the PP-DB declaration against Peevski. It is impolite for the second to set conditions - 1

Yesterday Borisov was categorical that there will be no coalition interaction with both DPS. People who worked with Peevski for a year and talked to each other in small names have no right to make such a declaration. It is a bit impolite for the latter to set conditions. We're supposed to work together. This was stated by Tomislav Donchev from GERB-SDS in “Face to face“ on bTV, quoted by novini.bg.
„Such an approach of the younger one wringing his hands, setting the rules, trying to dictate the rules, is ill-mannered. This does not imply interaction with Mr. Peevski's formation, he specified.

„In politics, working together, forming a coalition, is not done on the basis of who likes someone, but on the basis of a management program and useful work that can be done. Finding agreement is not an easy job, but to start such work a respectful tone is needed”, the politician pointed out.
According to him, it is proper to have talks to seek a consensus for the chairman of the National Assembly. “We have two representatives who coped well with this task, the group will decide”, said Donchev.

„While some politicians are polishing their political egos, statehood is in disintegration. We will not sign the PP-DB declaration against Peevski. Citizens do not believe that elections reflect our vote, and that is very bad. We are in the most terrible constitutional crisis. I do not believe that the election day passed without violations. Therefore, instead of having an empty political argument, there are still offices in this country that need to step into their functions. It must be investigated why, where and on whose orders ballots were added. We have a huge problem – 80,000 people participate in the election process in the sectional election commissions. What were they doing? Where were they looking and why were they silent?“ asked Tomislav Donchev.

First of all, we need a calm and non-hysterical conversation on the subject of the Electoral Code. One of the huge problems is that the CEC members have not read the CEC instructions. My appeal to everyone is to exercise wisdom. If the new parliament succeeds in producing only scandals, let's go to elections again amid all the crises. I am convinced that the cases of aggression in the society are due to the scenes of the debate in the parliament. We have to pull together, overcome the misunderstanding between each other and help our country”, he urged.

When asked whether the elections should be canceled, Tomislav Donchev stated: „If the necessary votes are not enough, we will give support, although we are entering a strange situation when the first political force wants to cancel the elections. Even if a request is made to the Constitutional Court, it will commission a number of inspections, it will not refer to signals on television. All institutions that have the power to do so now while the trail is hot. If there is a recount, we will improve our result“.

In his words, the best option is a coalition government with shared responsibility together with PP-DB.
