His comment is on the occasion of the caretaker government's decision from today to approve the creation of the Multispecialty Hospital for active treatment "Mom and Me". in Sofia.
There is no conflict between the two hospitals - one is for both children and adults, and the other is only for children. But I say again that the funding for the state children's hospital is secured, as the Minister of Health assured me, explained Dimitar Glavchev.
The decision of the cabinet led to the reaction of the Public Council for the establishment of a National Children's Hospital, according to which Sofia and the region do not have the financial and personnel capacity to support two large, multi-disciplinary children's hospitals.
The Public Council demanded that the caretaker government explain its decision to approve the project. The Ministry of Health reacted to the decision with a position, from where they explained that in the future private hospital "Mom and Me" only 40 beds for children are planned.
