BCHK - Lovech organizes for the sixth year in a row the initiative "First steps in fishing" and Water Rescue Day. Today from 8:30 a.m. at the "Livadeto" dam near the hunting village of Vladinya, children will participate in a fishing competition and water rescue demonstrations.
About 20 children between the ages of 5 and 16 will be involved in the initiative, explained the chairman of the BCH Board of Directors – Lovech Tsvetomira Georgieva, quoted by BNR.
"We want to take these children out into nature, preserve the tradition of fishing and, on the other hand, educate nature to be protected. And most of all, together with our young lifeguards, we will show them various demonstrations in relation to what bodies of water are allowed and forbidden to enter, what are the dangers and how to react in such an environment. Let's make these children learn something, because during fishing they will have tasks, but we will also teach them something interesting and fun", she pointed out.
There will be prizes for the best representatives in the competition, and the initiative will also be held in the other municipalities of the district.
