The election campaign for the 2 in 1 vote on June 9 is in full swing. There are exactly two weeks left in which the candidate MPs will win us or lose us with their messages.
20 parties and 11 coalitions participate with their candidates for the National Assembly. Out of all 6114 candidates for people's representatives, we have to decide which 240 we will send to the parliament.
The progress of the election campaign in the show “120 minutes” Sociologists Boryana Dimitrova from “Alfa Research” and Dobromir Zhivkov from “Market LINKS“.
„We have the sixth election in less than three years. If in 2021-2022 public opinion was dominated by hope, anger, desire for change, now disappointment dominates”, commented Dimitrova.
In her words, the disappointment is on all levels – to voters from the parties and to parties from partners.
„There are still people who have not decided who they will vote for, there are people who are hesitating But the disappointment of what happened dominates and leads to two main processes – one is a protest vote, which is expressed either in staying at home or in dispersing the vote in other parties”, added Dimitrova.
The sociologist also announced that a study by “Alpha Research“ at the beginning of the campaign it was shown that most people would vote with “I do not support anyone” from the former voters of PP-DB.
This is also confirmed by the research of “Market LINKS”, announced Dobromir Zhivkov.
„The percentages that PP-DB lost compared to the previous elections, for now remain in the category of undecided who they will vote for. According to our analysis, the most significant share of those who voted for PP-DB is in this category. They will probably decide in the last week, maybe in the last two days”, the sociologist specified.
According to him, part of the protest vote, as in previous elections, will go in support of the "Revival" party.
„This party is partly chosen by people who are not satisfied with other political formations, in order to show their dissatisfaction”, Zhivkov specified.
